Candlelight Wireless Networks are fast – beginning at 5 Megabits per second and available up to 1 Gigabit per second. Equally important, our wireless network connections are Symmetrical meaning that information can be received and sent at the same speed. Asymmetric systems such as conventional DSL or Cable provide significantly reduced speed for uploading or sending versus downloading data. For example, the maximum upload speed for standard DSL is only 800 Kilobits (0.8 Megabits) per second.

Since our inception in 2002, the Candlelight Wireless Network has continued to grow and now services over 600 customers from 75 towers encompassing a coverage area of over 19,000 sq kilometres throughout the Muskoka, Almaguin and Haliburton regions, plus a number of independent Municipal and Commercial Networks operating throughout Ontario.
